“Pretty Little Liars” star Keegan Allen has revealed that he needed stitches in his temple after the horrific armed robbery he was the victim of in Los Angeles.
Allen, 37, shared a close-up photo on her Instagram Stories on Saturday showing two cuts on her face that required stitches, adding that she was “recovering” and promising to share more updates soon.
“I thank the medical team” [sic] and law enforcement and everyone reaching out ❤️,” she wrote.
The “Walker” actor was robbed at gunpoint and knifepoint outside upscale grocery store Laurel Supply in West Hollywood on Thursday night.
In an Instagram video, Allen described how he was ambushed by two masked men who threatened to kill him before stealing his watch.
The man, who appeared covered in blood on his face, neck and clothes, said in the video, “These two men hit my head and ran away while pointing a knife and a gun.” “They had masks and they took my watch. They took my watch. Damn.”
Allen also included security footage of the attack in the video; This footage appeared to confirm his account, showing two masked men approaching him in the parking lot as he was loading items into the backseat of his truck.
In the caption, the actor said, “West Hollywood is no longer safe,” seemingly taking aim at Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and California Governor Gavin Newsom for their approaches to fighting crime.
“We hope (Karen Bass), (Gavin Newsom) and all these cameras that everyone thinks will stop crime can find these very dangerous criminals,” he wrote, adding: “God bless.”
Exclusively obtained 911 dispatch audio of Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies communicating about an “assault” at 8445 Santa Monica Blvd., the address of Laurel Supply, shortly before responding to the scene just before 9 p.m.
A representative for the LASD told Page Six that there was a call for service for a “robbery.”
The representative said in part: “Upon arrival, deputies contacted an adult male who advised that he was approached by two male adults wearing black clothing. One of the suspects pointed a silver handgun at the victim, while the other pointed a knife and demanded the victim’s watch and bracelet.”
Allen “suffered a cut to his forehead” and was medically evaluated by the LA County Fire Department, which also responded to the scene. Ultimately, he was not taken to the hospital.
Video obtained exclusively by Page Six shows law enforcement officers leaving Allen’s home Friday afternoon, less than 24 hours after the attack.
A deputy at the scene told Page Six that the investigation is “ongoing.”
