Actor Margaret Qualley and musician Jack Antonoff have called it quits.
The couple, who has been married since August 2023, filed for divorce in Kings County Supreme Court in Brooklyn, New York, on October 30. This comes months after the Bleachers frontman was seen attending Taylor Swift’s wedding alone in July, fueling rumors that the couple had split.
Representatives for Qualley, 32, and Antonoff, 42, did not immediately respond to TODAY.com’s request for comment.
Court records list Qualley as the plaintiff and Antonoff as the defendant in the civil suit. Divorce case is considered as a contested marriage case.
The application comes after months of speculation about the pair’s relationship. After fans noticed that Antonoff attended Swift’s wedding alone, many pointed out that the couple’s wedding photos were removed from Qualley’s Instagram page. The Instagram account, which once referenced the Bleachers song “Isimo,” has also been changed to @sarahmargaretqualley23.
This led many to believe the relationship was on the rocks, and some fans questioned whether some sort of infidelity was at play.
However, Qualley’s representative denied the rumors at the time. In a statement shared with NBC News on July 10, Qualley’s representative said that “the narratives in the press about Margaret and Jack are categorically untrue.”
In his statement about the couple, the representative said, “There are no trust issues. There was no infidelity or anything other than respect and partnership in this relationship.” “They have a deep love and care for each other.”
The filing puts an end to a relationship believed to have begun in 2021, when the pair were first seen kissing in Brooklyn. Their 2023 New Jersey wedding was an eventful one, featuring a star-studded guest list including Swift, Lana Del Ray, Channing Tatum, and Zoë Kravitz.
