Actor Keegan Allen posted a disturbing video on Thursday. He said he was robbed in front of a grocery store In West Hollywood.
The 37-year-old actor is known for his role in the youth TV series “Pretty Little Liars,” appears to have a large amount of blood flowing down his face video He shared on Instagram.
“My watch was stolen,” Allen said in the video. “These two men hit me on the head, pointed a gun at me with a knife, and then ran away.”
Allen said he was approached by two masked men while he was loading items into his truck.
One of the men held a gun to Allen’s face, while the other brandished a knife and demanded his watch and bracelet. A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department told KABC TV.
Visible security camera footage shows the two suspects attacking Allen and then fleeing the scene.
Allen wrote in the caption of his video: “West Hollywood isn’t safe anymore. I was robbed at gunpoint and knifepoint by two young men who threatened and would kill me off my watch! God said no tonight. For an hour, my dear.”
He then tagged Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and California Governor Gavin Newsom, adding: “Update soon. Let’s hope @karenbassla @gavinnewsom and all those swarm cameras everyone thinks will stop crime can find these very dangerous criminals. God bless.”
Allen did not immediately respond to HuffPost’s request for comment. According to deputies, “he suffered a cut on his forehead.”
He was evaluated by the Los Angeles County Fire Department but was not taken to the hospital.
