The Governor’s Awards will be held on Sunday, November 15, and will be presented to Glenn Close and Ridley Scott. Preliminary voting for shortlists in the 12 Oscar categories will take place from December 7 to 11, with the shortlist announced on Tuesday, December 15. After the qualification period ends on December 31, 2026, nomination voting will take place from January 11 to 15, 2027. Official Oscar nominations will be announced on Thursday, January 21, 2027. The 99th Academy Awards will be held on Sunday, March 14, 2027, hosted by Conan O’Brien. The awards show will air live from the Dolby Theater at Ovation Hollywood at 7 p.m. ET on ABC and in more than 200 territories worldwide.
