The Marvel saga’s cumulative lifetime shipping in China currently stands at $647.8 million.
Dirty Monkeys’ war comedy-drama “Once Upon a Time in the Middle East” moved into second place after a long race to the top, collecting $7.6 million in its seventh weekend. The late-summer hit, directed by Wen Muye (“Dying to Survive”) and starring Shen Teng, Jiang Qiming, Aarif Rahman and Omar Sherif, has grossed $341.2 million since its release on August 11. The story follows a Chinese chef in a fictional Middle Eastern city who transforms his restaurant into a shelter for local orphans and civilians in the midst of regional armed conflict.
Pearl Studio’s animated fantasy comedy “All Wishes Come True!” It ranked third in its eleventh weekend, earning $4.6 million. The long-running animated feature directed by Mu Zhengyang has reached a cumulative total of $296 million since its release on July 18.
Riverrun Grace Film’s crime comedy “The Old Fox” ranked fourth with $3.6 million. Directed by Li Taige, the film stars Yu Qian as a retired senior police officer who discovers suspicious anomalies during a seemingly routine theft investigation. When their investigation leads directly to a ruthless corporate president played by Tony Leung Ka-fai, the two experienced operators become caught in a battle of wits.
Among the top five, Pearl River Film Group’s crime thriller “V” took in $2.8 million in its sixth frame, bringing its cumulative gross to $96 million. Directed by Han Yan (“Love Never Ends”) and featuring an ensemble cast led by Tony Leung Ka-fai, Zhu Yilong, Tan Jianci and Kara Wai, the film chronicles an ambitious man’s rapid rise to power and the lasting consequences that threaten his success.
Mainland China’s overall weekend gross reached $39.9 million amid a customarily quiet corridor ahead of the upcoming Golden Week holiday. Box office revenue in 2026 decreased by 29.4% compared to the same period in 2025, reaching 4.34 billion dollars.
