Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Star, Jenny “JWoww” Farleyis applauding the haters.
After a video of Farley’s visibly slimmer figure was posted on social media on Friday, September 18, people flooded the comments section to criticize her weight.
Farley, 41, responded to the criticism with her own comments, including accusations that she took Ozempic or other GLP-1 drugs to achieve the look.
“Apologies to anyone offended by my weight lol,” she wrote. “I haven’t been this thin since middle school, but unfortunately I was told I couldn’t eat for six days in the hospital because they were debating whether to take out my appendix, and I had a kidney abscess the size of a golf ball… Appendicitis and kidney infection sucked (I spent the summer losing weight because I’d been in that condition).
She added, “But what’s worse is that I have no control over how thin I am now, and I didn’t get any ‘injections’ for it…but when I gain all the weight, I’ll ask.” [weight] Come back and let you comment on how fat I am 😂😂 because women can’t win no matter what. “
In response, some followers defended Farley against more aggressive commenters.
“As someone who has gone through major health struggles, this breaks my heart. People have no idea what disease can do to the body,” one social media user wrote. “People who expect everyone to be 100% all the time have a complete lack of compassion and understanding. They think if they don’t feel that, it’s not real. That’s not true. You are a warrior and you just have to keep shining ✨️💜”

Earlier this month, Farley opened up about her health struggles, which resulted in her being hospitalized.
“This is not the ‘first day of school’ photo I wanted to post…but then again, I don’t think we’ll have a photo like this,” Farley wrote on Instagram on September 3, alongside a photo of herself in a hospital gown.
her 12-year-old daughter Meilani and 10-year-old son Greyson, who lives with her ex-husband Roger Matthewsalso appears in the image.
She continued, “This past week has probably been one of the hardest weeks of my life. I’ve been trying every day to stay healthy so I can go home to my family, while also dealing with a horrific kidney infection and appendicitis.”
Farley explained that in the “months” leading up to her hospitalization, she felt something wasn’t right with her body.
“I’d like to say it came out of nowhere, but the truth is, I haven’t felt like myself for months,” she continued. “Weight loss, fatigue, constantly feeling sick…and then last Friday, my body finally said, ‘We can’t do this anymore.'”
