‘The Elder Scrolls 6’ Title Revealed

Bethesda Game Studios officially announced the subtitles and logo of “The Elder Scrolls 6”.

The sixth edition was announced as “Sentinel” as part of Bethesda’s 40th anniversary on Tuesday, accompanied by a video message from longtime franchise director Todd Howard along with a logo reveal. The game will be the sequel to the 2011 role-playing series “Skyrim”.

Sentinel is a city in the province of Hammerfell in Tamriel, the continent where “The Elder Scrolls” is set. Hammerfell is in the west of Cyrodiil, the setting of the fourth episode, “Oblivion” (2006), and southwest of “Skyrim,” which remains the studio’s most-played game.

“The Elder Scrolls 6” was first announced at Bethesda’s E3 2018 conference in 2018 and entered active production in 2023 following the release of “Starfield.” Howard said he predicts the game could be released 15-17 years after “Skyrim” in 2021, meaning fans may still be a few years away from playing “Sentinel.”
