‘Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Star Jen Affleck Files for Divorce from Zac Affleck

“Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star Jen Affleck filed for divorce from Zac Affleck on Tuesday after seven years of marriage, according to court documents obtained by People.

The couple first met in 2018 and got engaged and married the following year. They have three children, Nara, Luca and Penelope, and are currently expecting their fourth child.

News of the couple’s separation comes ahead of the Nov. 12 premiere of Hulu’s “Secret Lives” spinoff, “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County,” in which Jen will star.

Since the original’s debut on the platform in 2024, Jen has played a major role on the series for five seasons, alongside cast members Taylor Frankie Paul, Whitney Leavitt, Mayci Neeley, Mikayla Matthews, Jessi Draper, and more. (Paul, Matthews, and Leavitt have since left the show.)

Viewers have seen Jen and Zac go through numerous marital problems on-screen, including both financial and emotional issues between them. In Season 1, when Jen was likely attending a Chippendales show with her “MomTok” co-stars during a cast trip to Las Vegas, the infamous argument between the two was documented, prompting Zac to tell her he’d get a divorce if she left. Jen was also vocal about Zac’s gambling issues during the show.

In August, Jen told People that there was “a lot going on behind closed doors” while she was pregnant with her fourth pregnancy. “I’ll be honest, a lot has happened in the last few months,” he said at the time. “But I feel like I see the light at the end of the tunnel and try to count my blessings every day.”

TMZ was the first to report the news.
