“Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star Jen Affleck has filed for divorce from husband Zac Affleck after more than seven years of marriage.
The reality star, who is currently pregnant with their fourth child, filed for divorce in Utah on Tuesday, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.
Jen also offered a suggested parenting plan, the outlet reported.
No other details were available.
Jen, 27, and Zac, 30, met on the Mormon dating app Mutual in 2018 and got married in 2019. They have three children together: Nora, 4, Lucas, 3, and Penelope, 1, with another on the way.
The “Dancing with the Stars” alum announced her fourth pregnancy on Instagram in June, sharing photos of herself showing off her baby bump. Her husband was not visible in the photos.
Jen and Zac have openly talked about their marital struggles on “SLOMW” since Season 1. Jen shared that the couple went to therapy to solve their problems and their relationship became stronger.
Still, the tension continued into Season 5, when Zac was unsupportive of Jen’s ambitions, including her desire to appear on “Sports Illustrated.”
“Growing up, Zac was taught not only to be modest, but to have that be an expectation for the women around him,” she said in the confessional, adding: “It’s definitely been a difficult journey [her] It honors Zac’s “traditional values and traditional views” while also honoring his career goals.
“I think if he truly loved me unconditionally, he would want to support me, and I don’t think there was even a conversation of reconciliation,” he continued.
She also shared that he threatened to divorce her if she got an acting job and played a character who was in a relationship with someone else.
“I think Zac doesn’t take these dreams and goals seriously,” he said. “I think he’s afraid of losing me.”
Jen will star in “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County,” an upcoming spinoff of the Hulu reality series, following the family’s move from Utah to Southern California.
The show will premiere on November 12.
