Stand-up comedians and general idiots Atsuko Okatsuka and Chris Fleming join cartoon editor Emma Allen for a lively discussion that may or may not end with Okatsuka’s viral Drop Challenge. Okatsuka and Fleming are known for their signature locks: Okatsuka for her curved bowl cut and Fleming for his cascading curls (tragically cropped for a new role). Fleming, a self-described “entertainer” who plays a stay-at-home mom named Gayle on YouTube and recently appeared in the first season of “Widow’s Bay,” released his Emmy-nominated stand-up special this year, “Chris Fleming: Live at the Palace.” Okatsuka’s second special, “Father,” premiered last year and won the Webby Award for best stand-up. Comedians joined the magazine’s humor editor at the twenty-seventh New Yorker Festival.
