Saved by Bell‘s Lark Voorhies He was the first actor to react to the death of the late Costar Dennis Haskins.
“Knowing Dennis Haskins for almost 40 years has been one of the true blessings of my life, and it makes me so deeply saddened to lose him,” the 52-year-old actor wrote via Instagram late on Monday, September 28.
Voorhies continued, “We shared so much history together from our early days, and through it all he remained an amazing person, a loyal friend, and someone with such a kind, gentle heart. I am truly heartbroken by his passing and will miss his warmth and laughter more than words can express. Rest in peace Dennis, you will always have a special place in my heart.”
Voorhies played spoiled student Lisa Turtle in the popular NBC sitcom, which aired from 1989 to 1993 and followed a group of students at the fictional Bayside High School.
