Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz are back at work for “The Mummy 4.”
Fraser, who reprises his role as chief adventurer Rick O’Connell, was all smiles as he filmed scenes at a former military base in Suffolk, England, on Monday.
Cameras caught the actor donning his helmet and getting behind the wheel of his silver-red rocket car during the record speed trials scene.
Fraser, 57, was also photographed chatting with his castmates who were cheering for him on the set.
He dressed for the role by wearing a black leather jacket and trousers.
Weisz, on the other hand, was seen filming a separate scene in London for the highly anticipated film directed by Tyler Gillett and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin.
The actress, who plays Egyptologist Evelyn Carnahan, filmed several scenes outside the British Museum.
She stepped out wearing a short brown jacket, a mustard yellow polka dot midi skirt and a wide-brimmed hat.
Weisz accessorised with black shoes, leather gloves and a brown leather briefcase.
At one point he took out the camera to film something.
Fraser and Weisz first shared the screen in the series’ first film, “The Mummy,” released in 1999, and then in the second adaptation, “The Mummy Returns,” in 2001.
However, Weisz did not appear in the third film, “The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor”, which was released in 2008.
According to IMDB, Weisz and Fraser will star in the fourth movie alongside Oded Fehr, John Hannah and Kevin J. O’Connor.
Although the plot has not yet been revealed, directors Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett are the brains behind the 2019 horror film “Ready or Not” and the “Scream” franchise.
The film is planned to be released in October 2027.
