Author Colleen Hoover’s 2018 romantic thriller “Verity” returned to the bestseller list when the theatrical adaptation of the novel opened nationwide.

The hardcover version of “Verity” currently sits at number two on Amazon’s best-selling books list, just behind the new Rebecca Yarros release “Threshing Day,” the fourth book in the author’s “Empyrean” series. “Verity” also sits at number two on the Audible audiobook charts (as of this writing), and is back near the top after more than 100 weeks on the chart.

“Verity” was an instant hit with readers when it was first published, quickly becoming a #1 New York Times Best Seller and a BookTok favorite.

COLLECTOR’S EDITION

Truth

Amazon is currently offering the book for 30% off in a “collector’s edition” that includes an exclusive new chapter from Hoover as well as a new author’s letter.

The 368-page book, from publisher Grand Central Publishing, follows struggling writer Lowen Ashleigh, who works for Jeremy Crawford, the husband of bestselling author Verity Crawford, who is presumed to be in a coma after a car accident. Ashleigh is asked to help complete Verity’s book series and soon begins filling in manuscripts to piece together the books. But as the publisher notes, “What Lowen doesn’t expect to uncover in the chaotic office is an incomplete autobiography that Verity never intended for anyone to read—pages full of chilling confessions, including Verity’s memories of the night that changed her family forever.”
