A match on the dance floor.
“Dancing with the Stars” pro Adele Zaikman has opened up about her relationship with Allen Genkin, her rival on the “Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro” spin-off series.
The couple shared a joint Instagram post on Wednesday for Zaikman’s 25th birthday; here was a carousel of photos of them standing close together and packing on the PDA.
“Happy birthday to the most beautiful queen,” Genkin wrote in the caption. “I wish you happiness, health, love and all the success life has to offer, you deserve everything you dream of and more.”
“You have inspired so many people around the world, including me, and so many people who love you. You smile every time you walk into a room and your infectious energy draws people towards you,” Genkin continued. “I can honestly say it’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me since the beginning. [‘The Next Pro’].”
Praising their connection as “something special,” Genkin called himself “the happiest and luckiest man in the world” and concluded his sweet message: “I adore you with all my heart! Honey, always remember how special you are inside and out, never let anyone darken your light because you have so much to give and I know you will do so in so many ways.”
Many “DWTS” stars praised their rocky launches in the comments section.
“HARD START!!! OMG I’ve had no one to talk to about this UNTIL NOW!” wrote professional Emma Slater.
Zaikman’s Season 35 partner Connor Leavitt commented, “So I don’t have to keep it a secret anymore? Hahaha.”
Former “DWTS” pro Peta Murgatroyd added: “This is so hot 🔥.”
Zaikman won “The Next Pro” in late August and earned a spot on “DWTS” in September, while Genkin finished fourth on the spin-off.
The 25-year-old actress left behind 11 of her friends who wanted to be dancers in the eight-week competition. Two weeks after being crowned the winner, she was paired with “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star Conner Leavitt to compete on the series’ 35th season.
However, the dancing duo was eliminated in the season premiere.
The couple earned a score of 12/30 after performing a salsa to Tag Team’s “Whoop! There It Is”.
“This was the most fun. I have the best dance partner in the world in Adele. I can’t wait for the world to see her talent,” Leavitt said after her elimination.
Zaikman, on the other hand, described performing in the ballroom as “a dream come true.”
