– Daniella: I am the older sister in my own life and also the eldest of my cousins. Victoria and I had a similar age gap as there was between my brother and me, so our connection happened organically.
Part of me has always felt a level of protection towards our players, including him. We were together in a completely new world, the show was a success and we were getting a lot of attention. I always wanted to make sure everyone was okay and felt safe and comfortable. This is how I played my role on and off screen.
We set up our dressing rooms with me, Victoria and Avan on one side, and Matt, Leon, Liz and Ari on the other. This was also where the schoolroom was located where real-life schools were held. I remember us all hanging out in the green room area and playing video games.
There was an element of camaraderie and I was always grateful that we were all energetic and truly enjoyed being around each other.
