Dave Grohl and wife Jordyn Blum attended the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards together on Sunday, two years after the musician’s bombshell cheating scandal made headlines.
The couple paired up in all-black outfits for date night at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, where the Nirvana drummer wore a leather jacket, turtleneck shirt and trousers.
Blum, meanwhile, rocked a spaghetti-strap dress with a balloon skirt and completed her look with pointed-toe heels.
The couple, who have daughters Violet Maye, 20, Harper Willow, 17, and Ophelia Saint, 12, posed together on the red carpet, presenting a united front after the scandal.
At the show, 57-year-old Grohl and his Nirvana bandmates Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear took the stage to receive the most prestigious award of the night, the Video Vanguard Award.
During their speech, the trio remembered former soloist and guitarist Kurt Cobain, who died by suicide in April 1994 at the age of 27.
Grohl and Blum’s marriage made headlines in September 2024, when the musician announced that he had fathered a child with another woman.
“I recently became a father to a new daughter born outside of my marriage,” he wrote on Instagram at the time.
“I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to him. I love my wife and children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness.”
In February 2025, Page Six exclusively confirmed that Jennifer Young was the mother of Grohl’s fourth child.
Young refused to reveal her baby’s name due to “some angry fans.”
The scandal was really “hardcore” for Blum, 50, sources told People after Grohl publicly revealed the existence of his love child.
“She doesn’t trust Dave. She’s not wearing her wedding ring,” the insider added. “She relies on a group of girlfriends. She feels lucky to be surrounded by love and support.”
However, US Weekly reported in March 2025 that Blum forgave Grohl.
“HE [still] A source claimed she was completely devastated by the situation but stood by him.
The insider also claimed that the couple were “going to counseling” and that Grohl was “doing his best to earn Jordyn’s trust back.”
Grohl and Blum have been married for more than 20 years. They married in August 2003 at their home in Los Angeles.
