Disney Cruise Ship Believe to Debut ‘Encanto’ Musical, ‘Frozen’ Family Feast and More

Disney has unveiled its latest cruise ship, Believe. The ship will embark on its maiden voyage on December 18, 2027, from its homeport of Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Brand new experiences include the first stage adaptation of “Disney Encanto,” which will premiere on board and is in development exclusively for Disney Believe.

“The Oak Table: A Frozen Family Feast,” an all-new, untold chapter of the “Frozen” story starring Oaken, Anna and Kristoff, will also be introduced. Set in a courtyard deep in the woods, Oaken and his family will invite guests to dine together while enjoying their cousins’ musical stylings.

Guests can also experience The Grand Hall, a live theater featuring characters from across the Disney universe, designed to bring to life the vibrant world where the sky meets the sea in Disney Animation’s “Moana” films.

Among other entertainment experiences based on Disney intellectual property, the Wishing Well is a gathering space themed after iconic settings and locales featured in the Disney animated classic “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.” Gazelle will be a “Zootopia”-inspired entertainment destination offering a variety of live shows (plus adult-only options at night) designed to keep families laughing, singing and competing together. Inside Out: Joyful Sweets features confections inspired by the expanded emotional cast in the Pixar series “Inside Out 2.” There will also be new cafes themed around “Big Hero 6” and “Moana.”

Disney Believe joins sister ships Disney Wish, Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny. This is part of Disney Cruise Line’s growth plan, which will see the fleet grow to 13 ships by late 2030.
