Heidi Klum reveals a giant severed hand as her 2026 Halloween costume

Heidi Klum underwent a bloody transformation into a giant, scary severed hand at her annual Halloween party in New York on Saturday, 25 years after she began hosting the highly anticipated event.

Klum was unrecognizable, only her eyes and mouth visible, blood dripping from her mouth as she stuck out her tongue. The upper part of the hand ended in a bloody assortment of dangling ligaments and tendons. He had a group of deputies dressed in blood-stained hazmat suits.

Last year he came up with the idea of a giant hand; specifically her own left hand with its long red nails, thumb ring, engagement ring, and wedding ring.

“I looked at my hand and thought, ‘Hey, I think I could somehow fit my body into that,'” Klum said.

The supermodel-turned-TV personality went viral in 2022 when she arrived at the party in a crawling worm costume on the end of a fishing rod.

In recent years, Klum has dressed as the Greek myth Medusa, a peacock, an 8-foot-tall “Transformer,” a werewolf from Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” music video, a clone accompanied by several Klum lookalikes and Kali, the multi-armed Hindu goddess of death and destruction.

Klum said it took about five to six hours to put on the hand costume this year, but it took much longer to do it. He posted clues on his Instagram account earlier in the day as bloody prosthetics were applied to his face.

“Of course the hardest thing is carrying it,” Klum said. “It’s pretty heavy.”

Her husband, musician Tom Kaulitz, did not attend because he was on tour this year. But details in her costume include palm lines and veins, as well as a tattoo with her name on her ring finger.

“Some of Tom is with me,” he said.
