Here’s What Our TODAY Team Wore for Halloween on Saturday.

Some of the best Halloween memories are often connected to our childhoods. So why not honor them?

That’s exactly what the TODAY team did on this special Halloween edition of Saturday TODAY. Along with co-host Laura Jarrett, Carson Daly, meteorologist Angie Lassman and NBC’s Joe Fryer, they recreated some Halloween looks from their teenage years. The crew certainly did not disappoint.

First in line was Laura, who was sitting in the “living room” waiting for the trick-or-treaters to arrive. She arrived dressed as a cute ballerina, a reference to her daughter’s Halloween costume.

A few minutes later, Laura received her first visitor. Carson rang the doorbell and galloped into the living room dressed as a cowboy, a recreation of one of his favorite Halloween costumes when he was five.

Capa even brought his faithful horse Pardner with him.

“Who didn’t want to be a cowboy when they were a kid?” Carson remembered. “That’s all I ever wanted to do.”

Then another visitor appeared at the door. This time, Joe was wearing an almost identical replica of his beloved childhood pirate costume. Joe even brought back some of the old sword fighting techniques.

“Hi buddy!” Joe said as he made his entrance. “Walk on the plank!

The final trick-or-treater was none other than everyone’s favorite purple dinosaur, Barney. It was actually Angie dressed like the childhood icon, but you could barely tell the difference! Angie strolled into the living room to the tune of Barney’s signature “I Love You.”

Angie even offered her Halloween weather forecast at the opening.

What an icon.

The team also shared their favorite candies. For Joe, it’s a Butterfinger or Reese’s Peanut Butter cup. Laura said she likes gummy, sour candies. Carson chose 100 Grand bars, caramel, chocolate chip and chocolate with rice pudding as his best candy. Angie also chose KitKats.

Angie informed fans that dinosaurs ate their KitKats in a very unique way; The chocolate layer is first before entering the wafer section.

“Dinosaurs are fond of KitKats,” Angie said.

For Laura and Carson, the Oct. 31 show represented the second round of TODAY costumes this year. In the previous day’s Halloween extravaganza, Laura transformed into gold medalist Simone Biles. The costume was so epic that Biles reacted to Laura’s Halloween reveal on Instagram, writing in all caps: “PERFECT.”
