ABC announced Monday that it will take advantage of the post-Super Bowl glow to promote Kaitlin Olson’s drama “High Potential.” This means the series will air immediately after Super Bowl LXI on Sunday, February 14, 2027, on ABC and Disney+.

This isn’t the only show Disney is hoping to create a Super Bowl halo effect on. Like Diversity As previously reported, Hulu also plans to air new Dan Fogelman-produced football drama “The Land” on Super Bowl Sunday.

In 2025, Fox hosted game show “The Floor” behind Super Bowl LIX, and in 2024 CBS aired the series premiere of “Tracker” after Super Bowl LVIII, attracting 18.44 million viewers. This represents the last scripted show to air after the Great Game.

The network stated that “High Potential” will return for Season 3 on Tuesday nights in early 2027 (airing on Hulu the next day). “High Potential” finished the 2025-2026 streaming season as No. 1 among adults 18-49, earning a 3.35 rating after 35 days of viewing on ABC, Hulu, Hulu, Disney+ and digital platforms, according to Alphabet net. In terms of viewers, the show averaged 16.01 million viewers across the same multiplatform 35-day results.
