Kim Kardashian admitted her eldest daughter North West loves being the center of attention.
The mother-of-four said she was concerned about the effects of exposing her children to intense fame, but noted in an interview published in the Sunday Times on Saturday that her teenage daughter had shown more interest in the cameras than others.
Kardashian shares children North, 13, Saint, 10, Chicago, 8, and Psalm, 7, with ex-husband Kanye West.
“Every kid does what he’s comfortable with,” he told the outlet. “So, my little ones come up to me while I’m shooting, but they don’t tell the story.”
“The North likes it a little more than the others,” he added.
The Skims founder explained that North should have been prevented from taking all the opportunities presented to him.
“All he wants to do are forward-looking projects,” he shared. “And it’s like we’re just trying to enjoy these moments and not do everything that gets in the way so we can really make sure we’re managing this the right way.”
Kardashian said she and West were on the same page about the work North would take on; This includes the release of her EP “N0rth4evr” in May and appearing on the cover of the September issue of “Dazed” magazine.
The 45-year-old reality star described herself as a “moderately strict parent.”
“I am extremely patient and loving,” she shared. “I still have a child sleeping in my bed. I read books with the children every night.”
Kardashian and West, 49, supported North at her first solo concert at the Vic Theater in Chicago last month. The exes kept their distance from each other by sitting in different sections of the venue.
Kardashian later proudly shared a video on her Instagram Stories of herself standing shoulder to shoulder with a sold-out crowd waiting for North’s performance to begin.
The concert came after North canceled her 14-stop tour with rapper Molly Santana in July, just days before the first show was due to take place.
In an interview with Dazed magazine, North said the worst advice he was given was to wait to start a music career.
“It’s like no, this is my hobby, this is what I like to do, this is what I want to do with my life,” he insisted.
She also defended her bold look, which includes fake piercings and facial tattoos.
“Everyone is in love with men, vapes and does all kinds of bad things,” he said. “All I want is blue hair and piercings.”
