Patrick told CBS Ross Douthat … “I said ‘I’m sorry,’ and then I had to hold him, and I had to lie next to him. And then he died in my arms.”

He added… “Remember, ‘Just give me one. Just give me a baby,’ and I’m going to raise him the best I can and I’m going to give him the best life possible. I’m going to tell him about his siblings. I’m hopeful. And then when I got to the hospital, I went to the doctor. I saw the look on her face and I knew this wasn’t going to be a good prognosis.”

On Friday’s “CBS Morning” show, the network aired a clip of her saying… “I want people to know that Pat, as I’ve said before, was the most selfless father and supportive partner.”
On Sunday’s show, Patrick and Rachel revealed they plan to start a family together.
Patrick said… “I can’t wait to tell them about their siblings.”
