Meghan Markle’s half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr., lashed out at their father after Thomas Markle Sr. vehemently denied allegations that he possessed child pornography.
Thomas Jr., 60, called Thomas Sr.’s denial “incredible” while challenging the 82-year-old to explain how he came into possession of the allegedly disturbing material.
“I am confident that the huge piles of evidence that I took to the police today will reveal the truth when police experts examine it,” he told the Sun in an interview published on Friday.
“I would never give it all to the police if I wasn’t 1,000 percent sure it had nothing to do with me.”
Thomas Jr. He continued: “I’m sure my father doesn’t have the same confidence – but if he does, then I challenge him to clear up the mystery of how it all got to this point.”
Thomas Sr. is in charge. He questioned who would have placed the alleged material among his father’s belongings had it not been the case.
As Page Six previously reported, Thomas Jr. claimed to have found “hundreds, if not thousands” of child sexual abuse images in four boxes at his father’s home in Cebu, Philippines.
He later reported the alleged discovery to local police and the FBI.
But Thomas Sr. vehemently denied the allegations on Friday, calling his son’s allegations “disgusting lies.”
She told the Daily Mail: “I’m shocked, hurt and very sorry that my son made these accusations against me.”
“I could never do what I’m accused of. This is the worst thing anyone could ever accuse me of.”
Thomas Sr. He added, “This is bullshit. Just a bunch of lies. It’s disgusting. I have no idea why Tom is trying to destroy me with these lies.”
Despite his father’s denials, Thomas Jr. said he hopes the allegations will ultimately go to trial.
“I hope my father will appear in court to face justice, either here or most likely in the United States,” he told the Sun.
“If he wants to issue a denial and clear his name, this would be the best place.”
Thomas Jr. He also asked forensic experts to determine who downloaded and viewed the alleged material and insisted he would cooperate with investigators.
Meanwhile, Meghan, 45, said she was “deeply disturbed” by the investigation into her estranged father.
The Duchess of Sussex also revealed that she was made aware of similar allegations years ago, which influenced her decision to keep Thomas Sr. away from her children Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5.
“I hope it is now clear that, despite some media coverage’s distortions over the years, the distance between my father and me and my choice not to allow him contact with our children was for one reason only: to protect them,” she said in a statement.
Meghan’s half-sister, Samantha Markle, defended their father, accusing Thomas Jr. of fabricating the allegations for financial gain.
