Prince Harry returned to the United States just days after moving to his new home in England.
According to People, the Duke of Sussex was at the luxury 5-star Lotte New York Palace hotel in New York City on Monday evening. A source said Harry was seen chatting with another person in the hotel’s Gold Room, a historic hall with opulent Gilded Age gold decor.
Harry’s representative confirmed that Harry was in New York and said he was traveling for business purposes.
“The Duke had a series of meetings in New York focused on new business opportunities and partnerships,” the representative told People, adding: “More details will be shared in due course.”
It was a quick trip because Harry, 42, had already returned to London on Wednesday and spoke at the Wanderlust Reader Travel Awards.
Branding expert Eric Schiffer, president of Reputation Management Consultants, told Page Six exclusively in September that Harry could spend around $1 million on exclusive speaking appearances.
“Harry’s royal title and persona could still hurt the event budget,” Schiffer told us. “He charges between $250,000 and $750,000 for a keynote, and close to $1 million for elite, private events.”
However, he noted that “not each of these stops was intended to grab cash with secret checks.”
It’s certainly been a busy time for the father of two.
He and his wife, Meghan Markle, 45, recently moved to a friend’s house in England, the Daily Mail reported on Monday.
According to the report, the couple and their two children – 7-year-old Prince Archie and 5-year-old Princess Lilibet – had been staying with the wealthy businessman, who lives in the Cotswolds, since returning to Harry’s hometown in August.
The insider said the family “lived in the main house” but had recently “moved to a property on the estate”.
Harry reportedly became friends with the businessman through their mutual support of military charities.
Meanwhile, Harry and Markle’s business endeavors continue to make waves as Archewell Productions loses another top employee.
Chanel Pysnik, Head of Nonfiction, Film and TV for the past five and a half years, is leaving the company, Deadline reported Tuesday.
Pysnik has executive produced several Archewell projects, including the couple’s 2022 docuseries “Harry & Meghan,” which takes aim at Harry’s estranged family, and Markle’s lifestyle series “With Love, Meghan,” which was canceled after two seasons in January.
He also produced Harry’s Netflix documentaries “Polo” and “Heart of Invictus” and the couple’s box office hit “Cookie Queens.”
