Robert Wagner shares rare photo with Natalie Wood look-alike daughter Natasha

Robert Wagner has shared a rare photo with the late Natalie Wood’s eldest daughter, Natasha, who bears a striking resemblance to the iconic actress.

The 96-year-old “Austin Powers” star shared this photo on Instagram in honor of Natasha’s 56th birthday on Sept. 29. Wearing a brunette bob with bangs, Natasha grins at the camera as she sits next to Wagner at a restaurant.

The legendary actor also smiled wearing a black suit jacket and a black shirt underneath.

“Please join me in celebrating my wonderful daughter Natasha’s birthday,” she wrote. “Jill [Wagner’s wife] and I’m so proud of the woman you are and the joy, laughter, and love you bring to our lives. We love you and wish you the happiest birthday.”

Wood welcomed Natasha with her ex-husband, British producer Richard Gregson, in 1970, and they were later legally adopted by Wagner.

Wagner and Wood were first married in 1957, but divorced in 1962, then got back together and remarried in 1972.

The couple share daughter Courtney, 52, and Wagner is also father to daughter Katie, 62, from his second marriage to actress Marion Marshall.

Following Wood’s death in 1981, actress Jill St. She married John.

Wood died tragically at the age of 43 when she drowned while spending time with Wagner and actor Christopher Walken on Wagner’s yacht.

The “West Side Story” star’s death was initially ruled an accident, but her death certificate was amended in 2012 to change the cause of death from drowning to “drowning and other undetermined factors.”

Detective Ralph Hernandez declared Wagner a suspect in 2018 after interviewing witnesses who claimed the actress had argued with her husband on the edge of the boat before she disappeared.

However, in May 2022, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department cleared the actor in a reopened investigation into Wood’s death.

“All leads in the Natalie Wood case have been exhausted and the case remains an open, unsolved case,” Lt. Hugo Reynaga told Page Six at the time.

The statement continued: “If additional leads emerge in the future that have not yet been investigated, the case will be turned over to a detective to investigate the new leads.”

Wood’s sister, Lana Wood, told The Post in 2021 that she always believed Wagner was responsible for Wood’s death.

“I don’t believe this was premeditated,” Lana said. “But that doesn’t mean I don’t think he did it. Of course he did!”

Natasha was just 11 when her mother died, but told the Daily Mail last month that she received support from both her biological father and stepfather during the critical period.

‘Fortunately, I had these two men with me; ‘Daddy Gregson and Daddy Wagner got together and rose to the occasion and put me completely first,’ he thought.

“They got me into therapy right away, and I was with the same wonderful therapist in Beverly Hills until I was in my 20s,” she added.
