After defending his flyweight title against Alexandre Pantoja via unanimous decision during UFC 331 in September, Joshua Van is heading from Los Angeles to Salt Lake City for Ultimate Fighting Championship, UFC 332.
In the main event, Brazilian Natalia Silva (20-5-1) will take on Chinese fighter Wang Cong (30-6-0) for the vacant women’s flyweight championship belt. It is planned as five rounds.
UFC 332 on Saturday, October 3: Silva vs. Wang will take place at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. The event will start at 4pm ET/1pm PT, with the main card kicking off at 8pm ET/5pm PT.
In the main event, Silva is considered the favorite to win the UFC Women’s Flyweight Championship due to her strong fighting technique. However, Wang Cong, as the underdog, has the ability to land quick strikes with his kickboxing background, so he has a chance to pull off an upset to claim victory of his own.
And since UFC 332 is a high-profile event in Salt Lake City, several celebrities are likely to be seen at the MMA event, especially celebrities who have attended in Utah in the past, such as Theo Von, Conor McGregor, Utah Jazz owner Ryan Smith and others.
