A youth club that the participant joins Chad Lowe‘s late daughter Fiona is paying tribute to the teenager who died by suicide at the age of 13.
The official Instagram account for Widget Works, a kids’ camp and social club located in Santa Monica and Pacific Palisades, California, shared on Friday, October 2: “Thank you Fiona. Thank you for all the good years we were able to have fun, dance, laugh, and love each other.” “Thank you for being such an important part of our Widget Works family and sharing your love, creativity, and sweet sass with us.”
The organization continued: “We will miss you and we will look for you in every wave, every seagull call, and chant your name among the ‘we are so proud of you’ – we love you and adore you and our hearts ache without you but you will forever be a part of our summers and we will honor you and remember all the good times we were blessed with you. We love you Fiona.”
Chad and his wife Who is the PainterThey announced the loss of their daughter in a joint statement on Wednesday, September 30, describing Fiona as “a smart, creative and loving young girl who loved to dance.” (The parents also share daughters Mabel, 17, and Nixie, 10.)
“We are deeply saddened by the loss of our beloved Fiona,” the couple said in a statement to multiple media outlets. “He was deeply loved by his sisters and deeply loved by his parents. In fact, he was the light of our lives. His passing is devastating for our entire family and we ask for prayers and privacy at this time. On Thursday, October 1, the Los Angeles medical examiner announced that Fiona was pronounced dead at 1:14 a.m. on Tuesday, September 29. The coroner ruled her death a suicide. (People I first reported the news.)
Fiona’s older sister, Mabel, has broken her silence following the death of her brother on Saturday, October 3.
“I love you so much Fiona ❤️,” Mabel, 17, wrote on Instagram alongside a carousel of old family photos. “I wish your short time here was easier and I hope you can rest easy now.”
He continued, “I will honor you forever and keep your memory alive. I hope you know how much I love you.”
Pretty Little Liars graduate’s father, Chuck LoweHe also publicly mourned the passing of his grandson following his untimely death.
“Rest in peace sweet Fiona,” Chuck wrote on Instagram.
