Former “GMA3” hosts Amy Robach and TJ Holmes have obtained a marriage license, almost a year after they announced their engagement.
Page Six can confirm that Robach, 53, and Holmes, 48, applied for licenses in Washington County, Arkansas, on Sept. 18.
TMZ was the first to report the news.
Robach and Holmes’ months-long workplace romance came to light in November 2022, when they married Andrew Shue and Marilee Fiebig, respectively. Shue and Fiebig have since started dating each other.
The explosive incident led to the duo’s departure from ABC in January 2023, with a network spokesperson telling Page Six at the time that it was “best for everyone” for the lovelorn co-hosts to “leave” the network.
Robach and Holmes continued their relationship following their dismissals, eventually announcing their engagement on the “Amy & TJ” podcast in October 2025.
“We are sharing with all of you that we are engaged and we have been engaged for about a month,” Robach said at the time.
Holmes added, “We wanted you all to know before anyone else. I think we’ve learned that lesson about our relationship in the past.”
The former CNN reporter noted that his fiancee wore her engagement ring in public “in crowds of tens of thousands,” adding that “nobody said a word.”
“I was wearing my engagement ring with great pride, with great excitement, in three major football stadiums for three weekends in a row, and I was waiting for someone to point at my ring or ask me, ‘Hey, what’s that?'” Robach said. “I was waiting for him to ask,” Robach recalled. “And that never happened.”
The duo had already sparked engagement rumors in March 2025 when Robach was spotted wearing a ring. HE finger while posing with Holmes on the red carpet at the iHeartRadio Music Awards.
Holmes, however, confirmed that she asked the question, implying that she and Robach were already married, and referred to Robach as his “wife” when introducing him on a May 2025 episode of the “I Do, Part 2” podcast.
“If you’ve found love right the first time, this is not the show for you. I’m TJ Holmes, with my friend, partner, and podcast co-host Amy Robach,” Holmes said at the time.
He then paused and admitted that his introduction was “very impersonal”, prompting Robach to also admit that it looked “very clinical”.
Holmes corrected himself: “With me, my partner, my wife. How should I express this?”
The then-newly engaged couple were seen together in New York for the first time since their engagement in November 2025; Robach was showing off her ring, which featured a large gold jewel on her left hand.
More recently, in May, Robach and Holmes announced on “Bill and Giuliana: The Podcast” that their wedding date had been set.
When Giuliana Rancic asked if they knew when they would be sworn in, Holmes replied, “We know,” catching Robach off guard.
“Are you okay with that date? I had a date that I really wanted. Now you’re telling me on the podcast that you’re okay with that date?” the NBC News alum asked.
“It made me feel more comfortable being here with them,” Holmes responded, referring to Giuliana and her husband and co-host Bill Rancic.
However, they did not announce the exact date.
