Wireless headphones are designed for performance, with a custom acoustic enclosure and large dynamic driver that delivers high-quality, theater-like sound. Apple’s audio engineers have also implemented spatial audio into these cans, creating a more natural and realistic listening experience. music floating around directly instead of you -most “Dynamic head tracking” technology keeps the sound at ear level even while moving.
AirPods Max comes with active noise canceling technology (ANC) that helps block out ambient noise. This makes these headphones especially perfect for traveling or work; for example, when you want to silence your colleague’s annoying chatter near your room.
Turn on “transparency mode” when you need to let in outside noise, such as being alerted to traffic or listening to a colleague’s conversation. Apple’s “Adaptive Sound” feature, meanwhile, automatically adjusts noise cancellation levels to suit your environment. The battery life of AirPods Max 2 is extremely strong, offering up to 20 hours of playtime on a single charge. This has been a lifesaver for me on long flights when I don’t have to worry about the music ending. A five-minute quick charge gives you 1.5 hours of listening time (USB-C charging cable included with purchase).
I love the instantly iconic design of these Apple headphones, with oversized memory foam ear cushions and a mesh headband (that never makes you sweat). Adjust the headband to find your most comfortable fit. I also like the ability to use my voice to control settings, answer calls, or ask for help. A simple “Hey Siri” connects me to Apple’s voice assistant, just like you use Siri on your iPhone.
