Bill Maher Demands New Boss David Ellison About Trump

“Real Time” host Bill Maher discussed the upcoming Paramount Skydance-Warner Bros. touched on his mega-merger and made a light-hearted plea to his new bosses.

“Finally, big news for us. When I say we, I mean all of you who are here with me every week,” Maher said. “Oh, the merger happened. You know that? Paramount now owns Warner Discovery, which owns HBO, which owns my ass. So who owns me? I don’t know.”

That’s when he addressed those at the top of the soon-to-be-merged media conglomerate, which will be chaired by Paramount Skydance CEO David Ellison.

“Whoever owns me right now, don’t believe Trump’s tweets about me,” he joked.

“Bill Maher’s ratings are so low it’s hard to believe his show can continue,” the president wrote. “It’s sad in many ways because I actually like him.”

Maher responded to Trump by referencing the gang rape allegations at the Cornell University fraternity house that made headlines this week.

“Do you know, Mr. President? Your insults do not bother me, make up whatever you want about me,” he said. “Don’t mention I went to Cornell.”
