Brandi Glanville’s father, Guy Glanville, has passed away at the age of 77.
“My dad is dead, I’m heartbroken, I hate this life right now,” the 53-year-old former reality TV star wrote via X on Saturday, along with a broken heart emoji.
Brandi did not disclose Guy’s cause of death, and her spokesperson did not respond to comment.
The former model had a rocky relationship with her father, including periods of estrangement, following his appearance on “Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars Family Edition” in 2018.
“My dad and I left the show in a big way, and when the show aired we haven’t spoken since,” Brandi told “Entertainment Tonight” shortly after the show’s season premiere.
“You know, he’d never been on TV before, and I warned him in advance: ‘They’re not going to be able to show everything we shot. They’re going to show the highlights, so you have to write notes and understand that these are going to be the highlights of what we’re filming, and don’t get angry; you’re going to get angry over and over again,’ and that’s what he eventually did.”
The “Celebrity Big Brother” alum added they didn’t talk but said he “loved it”[s] “I love him so much.”
“He’s everything. I’m just going [it] in his corner. Because you know, you know me, I get a little aggressive,” he shared.
Brandi and Guy eventually reconciled, and the Bravo star even defended her daughter during her fight with Denise Richards.
“My girl can be a lot of things, she can be a jerk sometimes, but she’s not a liar,” Guy said in a video shared on Instagram at the time, according to Us Magazine.
Earlier this year, Brandi revealed that her father was not doing well.
“We are completely off the books,” he wrote via X. “My father is in the cardiac unit at the hospital and is now day 13. We are both medical mysteries. Pray for my father, Guy Glanville.”
The “Drinking and Flirting” author is also struggling with serious health issues, along with unexplained issues affecting her face.
The television personality recently shared ultrasound footage on Instagram, saying her doctor “saw something alive” and “moving” in her face during the examination.
“If I can’t find a doctor to cut this off my face, I’ll do it myself,” he said in the video.
Brandi said she had “biofilmy, high-resistant ESBL Klebsiella and Enterobacter, Coccidioidomycosis (Valley fever), Demodex dermatitis, and mononucleosis.”
He also said he had a cork ball on his face that he was getting ready to remove.
In February, Brandi blamed her health problems on her 20-year-old breast implants leaking silicone into her lymph nodes.
Although the Bravo star said her medical bills totaled seven thousand dollars a week, she said she was “embarrassed” because a GoFundMe was recently set up in her name by a friend.
