The store where Kelly Clarkson slammed her for treating her as if she “couldn’t afford” the products shared a positive review from a customer amid the drama.
Art of Play in Brooklyn, New York, reposted a review of how staff showed “courtesy” while shopping.
“From the first moment I walked into @artofplay, I felt welcomed and treated with genuine kindness,” the customer wrote over an image of the store.
“I love discovering unique treasures and connecting with the wonderful people there. It’s a place that makes you smile and want to come back. I’m already counting down the days until I’ll be back in two weeks!” the person added.
The review was later deleted from Art of Play’s Instagram Stories.
Page Six reached out to the store for comment but did not immediately hear back.
On Saturday, the “American Idol” winner, 44, took to X to share her experience shopping at the Brooklyn-based store.
“I drove up to Brooklyn to look at this store which I thought looked really cool and had a few things in mind to buy and was literally looked at like I couldn’t afford it and was told she could find something similar for me,” she wrote to her nearly nine million followers. she wrote to her nearly nine million followers.

“But if you like being treated like Julia Roberts’ character in Pretty Woman, you should check out Art of Play in Brooklyn. By all means check it out 👎.”
Roberts, who plays Hollywood escort Vivian Ward in the 1990 film, is mistreated by a rude and snobby employee because of her dressing style.
Later, Vivian, looking elegant and carrying numerous shopping bags from other retailers, returns to the boutique and confronts the rude employee.
“Big mistake. Big. Huge,” Vivian told the store employee.
