Fiona Hepler Lowe, daughter of actors Chad Lowe and Kim Painter, has passed away. He was 13 years old.
Fiona’s death was confirmed by the Lowe family, who wrote in a statement to People on Tuesday, “We are deeply saddened by the loss of our beloved Fiona.” Fiona was described by her family as “a bright, creative and loving young girl who loved to dance.” “He was well-loved by his sisters and well-loved by his parents,” they wrote. “In fact, he was the light of our lives.”
The statement read: “His passing is devastating for our entire family and we ask for prayers and privacy at this time. If you or someone you know is struggling with their mental health, please reach out to the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988.”
Fiona was born on November 16, 2012 to Chad and Kim and was the second daughter in the family. Mabel Painter, 17, was born in 2009, and Nixie Barbara, 10, was born in 2016. Her middle name, Hepler, was the maiden name of Lowe’s late mother and the middle name of her brother, Rob Lowe, according to People. Lowe and Painter married in 2019.
Chad has appeared on shows like “Pretty Little Liars” and “Supergirl,” among others. He won an Emmy for his role as Jesse McKenna in “Life Goes On.” Rob is known for his roles in film and television, including “The Outsiders,” “St. Elmo’s Fire,” “Parks and Recreation” and more.
Fiona is survived by her father Chad, mother Kim, and sisters Mabel and Nixie.
