Actor Chad Lowe’s daughter Mabel Lowe is paying tribute to her late sister Fiona.
Chad Lowe and his wife Kim Painter announced the death of their 13-year-old daughter last week and included information about the suicide hotline. The Los Angeles area medical examiner later confirmed that their daughter died by suicide.
Mabel, 17, shared a heartbreaking post on Instagram to remember her sister.
“I love you so much Fiona ❤️ I wish your short time here was easier and I hope your mind is at ease now,” he wrote alongside a carousel of photos of himself and his sister.
“I will honor you forever and keep your memory alive. I hope you know how much I love you,” she added.
Chad Lowe and Kim Painter described their daughter as “a smart, creative, and loving young girl who loves to dance.”

“He was deeply loved by his sisters and deeply loved by his parents. In fact, he was the light of our lives,” they said in a statement at the time, calling his death “devastating.”

Chad Lowe, the younger brother of actor Rob Lowe, has three children with Painter: Mabel, 17, Fiona, 13, and Nixie, 10.
She posted in honor of her middle daughter’s milestone birthday last November, when she officially became a teenager.
“Congratulations on Fiona officially turning into a teenager today!!” he wrote at the time. “Keep dancing through life, FiBear! I love you so much!!”
