Dancing with the Stars judge Derek Hough After welcoming her daughter, she reshapes her mindset about health.
“New dad, new commitment to health,” Hough, 41, wrote on Instagram on Monday, September 28. “I seek longevity so that I can provide and show him energy and love every day.”
Along with the message, Hough posed for a shirtless mirror selfie in black shorts, showing off his abs. The mirror looked slightly stained, and Hough had an explanation for it in the comments section.
“Dirty mirror masterpiece courtesy of baby Everley ❤️,” she wrote, referring to her 9-month-old daughter.
In the comments section, fans were quick to point out Hough’s ripped physique. “New dad 🧑🍼, dad bod 💪 not detected. 🚨,” wrote one user, while another added: “Your six pack has a six pack.” “Just say ‘I look so good’ 😂,” joked a third.

“Going on tour was actually great because we got to see him all day long, even between shows,” he recalled. “I would do the first half of the act, then I had to run and say ‘hello’ to him, we’re all sweaty and getting ready for the second act. Then we got on the bus and it was… [set up as] the perfect place for a mother and baby; “We sleep there and cuddle.”
She continued, “It was really great and it was such a good tour baby. He traveled great, he slept well, he ate well. Thank goodness he was a great tour baby, but it’s just too much. There’s a lot going on, a lot of things going on. So for me, I try to enjoy the moments of seeing him and being with him, but, you know, it’s really good. I feel really lucky.”
