“I texted his dad, Rod,” Anderson recalled. “I said, ‘Hey man, I heard the news. If it’s true, tell Gypsy I’m sorry.'”

He also asked Gypsy’s father to say “I’m here if he needs me” and added: “I was always someone who could make him laugh and comfort him when he was sad.”

Gypsy moved on with Anderson, whom she married in a prison ceremony in July 2022. Gypsy was released from prison in December 2023, but her relationship with Anderson did not last long in the outside world and the pair divorced in 2024.
