Prince Harry and Prince William face off in ‘SNL UK’ cold open

Prince Harry and Prince William took aim at each other in the hilarious new “SNL UK” cold open.

In the sketch, Prince William (Freddie Meredith) and Kate Middleton (Annabel Marlow) are tricked into an awkward rendezvous with Prince Harry (Jack Shep) and Meghan Markle (Ayoade Bamgboye) at Sandringham – by none other than disgraced former prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor (George Fouracres).

The October 10 skit begins with Markle looking around and saying, “Look, this is where your grandfather asked if I’m related to Beyoncé,” to which Harry replies, “Classic. And here’s where he asks if I’m related to her.”

The Prince and Princess of Wales later encounter the pair, and Prince William calls his brother “Prince Ginger Pubes”.

The “SNL UK” cast channeled Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, Prince William and Kate Middleton in a cold open skit on the Oct. 10 episode, as seen above.

“I told you not to call me that because you know I can’t make a comeback,” Harry replies, and then Middleton says: “Oh look William, that’s the woman from ‘Suits’.”

According to Deadline, Harry fires back: “He’s not on ‘Suits’ anymore. He’s not doing anything anymore.”

King Charles (Larry Dean), Queen Camilla and Mountbatten-Windsor then reunite and the Queen asks: “Did someone say Pizza Express Woking?!”

When Charles addresses him without his old title, Mountbatten-Windsor replies, “That’s Prince Andrew to you.”

The monarch then responds: “Andrew, enough is enough. You’re arrogant. You’re right. You represent an outdated institution with centuries of wars and tax evasion and slavery, and that’s all great, but you’ve also been accused of terrible things, and that’s where I draw the line.”

Andrew retorts: “I swear, I never believed for a moment that my actions would have consequences.”

The sketch blatantly pokes fun at Harry and William’s ongoing feud — just as the show did last month when Harry and Meghan abruptly returned to the U.K. with 7-year-old Prince Archie and 5-year-old Princess Lilibet in August. (The couple moved to Southern California in 2020 after leaving the royal family.)

The couple are said to have moved to be closer to Harry’s father, Charles, and they hope this closeness will allow their children to establish relationships with the royal family.

It also targets the disgraced Mountbatten-Windsor, who resigned from royal duties in 2019 over his ties to notorious sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein and was later stripped of his title as prince before being ordered to move out of the Royal Lodge where he had resided for a long time.

The former prince was arrested in February on his 66th birthday for allegedly sending confidential business documents to a convicted sex offender.

The Justice Department released millions of records earlier this year; these included an indecent photograph of Mountbatten-Windsor holding himself upright above an unidentified woman lying beneath him.

Mountbatten-Windsor sought judicial review in early October, questioning whether her arrest and the search warrants at her home were lawful.
