Savannah Chrisley fiercely defended her unborn child following backlash over her pregnancy and engagement to convicted fraudster Jason Galanis.
The “Chrisley Knows Best” alum posted a picture of her sonogram to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, noting that her child is worthy of all public scrutiny.
“You are not a headline. You are not a controversy,” he wrote. “You are not defined by anyone’s past, anyone’s mistakes, or anyone’s thoughts.”
Chrisley stated that her child was “innocent, much loved, and the greatest blessing” to both her and her fiancée.
“No noise in this world will overshadow the joy of being your mother,” she wrote.
“You are my answered prayer,” he continued. “And I will never apologize for congratulating you.”
Chrisley, 29, dropped the bombshell that she’s expecting her first child and got busy with an Instagram video on Tuesday. Although he did not name Galanis, he stated that his fiancée was “much older” than him.
Us Weekly later identified Chrisley’s husband-to-be as Galanis, 56, who is 27 years her senior.
He was an associate of Hunter Biden who testified in the Republican impeachment inquiry into former President Joe Biden in March 2024 while he was still in prison.
Galanis was behind bars in September 2020 after being sentenced to more than 14 years in prison for his role in two schemes, including one that defrauded a Native American tribe and investors of tens of millions of dollars.
Trump commuted his prison sentence in March 2025.
Galanis also has a lot in common with his future father-in-law, 57-year-old Todd Chrisley.
Not only were they both pardoned by President Trump — Todd and his wife, Julie Chrisley, were pardoned after being convicted of tax evasion and bank fraud in May 2025 — they also served time together at the Federal Prison Camp in Pensacola, Florida. Page 6 can confirm that Galanis and Todd’s prison terms overlapped from January to August 2023.
In an episode of the “Unlocked” podcast released Tuesday, Savannah defended her and Galanis’ age difference.
“I always said: ‘I prefer this.’ [have] 20 extraordinary, incredible years with someone over 50 [fine] “years,” he said.
Praising Galanis, he said she “doesn’t look her age and doesn’t act her age” and spoke of her “great” body and “even sharper” mind.
