Tom Welling takes his revealing Instagram mistake in stride.
The “Smallville” alum left a comment on an Instagram video making fun of her mistakenly showing herself in the reflection of her New York City hotel room window and posted it on Instagram on Saturday — which she later deleted.
In the video, a man takes a photo in New York, squinting at first, then acting shocked by what he sees.
The text on the reel reads “POV, you are a tourist in New York and you see Tom Welling standing at his hotel window on October 10th.”
“I came for the views,” commented Welling, 49.
She also reposted her “Smallville” co-star Michael Rosenbaum’s Instagram Story, mocking him. In Rosenbaum’s Instagram Story, he jokingly takes a photo of New York skyscrapers with his reflection taking off his pants.
“Just looking out for my son @tomwelling,” Rosenbaum wrote. he said.
Welling thrilled fans over the weekend after she posted a photo showing the view from her hotel room to her Instagram Stories with the caption, “Hello, NYCC,” a reference to New York Comic Con.
But fans quickly noticed that her reflection in the window captured her completely without clothes.
The photo reportedly remained up for at least 10 hours before the “Cheap by the Dozens” star deleted it, but screenshots of the image quickly spread on social media.
On Sunday, Welling made no mention of the headlines as he shared a new photo of himself speaking at Comic Con on Instagram, writing: “Hope to see you all at @newyorkcomiccon today. Come say hello! #25yearsofsmallville.”
However, many fans commented on the racy photo.
“Watch your camera bud 😂,” one fan joked.
Another fan commented, “I mean he’s a super guy, of course he’ll be super. 🫡 he didn’t wear tights to show it off.”
“Smallville” premiered on the WB in 2001 and ended on the CW in May 2011 after airing for 10 seasons.
On Sunday, Welling (Clark Kent), Rosenbaum (Lex Luthor), Kristin Kreuk (Lana Lang), and Erica Durance (Lois Lane) reunited for a panel celebrating the show’s 25th anniversary.
