Surviving‘s undeniable appeal stems in part from the series’ enduring ability to compel people from different walks of life to work together in pursuit of the $1 million grand prize.

In a privately shared scene We It wasn’t until the Wednesday, Sept. 30 episode that Ana, a voice actress from Toronto, and Carter, a livestock farmer from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, formed a game-changing bond.
“Carter and I are like a big sister-little brother duo,” Ana, 34, says in the confessional. “We couldn’t be more opposite in our lives. He’s a farmer and has a 600-acre farm with his family. Meanwhile, I’m a city girl who lives in a 380-square-foot apartment with my little Pomeranian and goes around doing voice-overs in movies.”
“I tell him everything, and I think he tells me everything, too. We have a great bond.”
It seems to be true for Carter, too.
“My relationship with Ana is organic,” the 24-year-old farmer tells the camera. “I can’t even tell you how it happened. This was one of those deals where we felt like we were on the same page.”
He also touched on a recent dominant situation. Surviving He takes the duo as a model for the relationship he envisions with Ana.
“When I came here, I wanted the Kyle-Kamilla thing and I agreed with Ana,” he said. 48 survivors winning kyle fraser and his close ally Kamilla Karthigesu. “I was like the person I want to play this game with at any cost. In this game you need someone you can trust or get mad at. He’s my go-to guy and I trust him with everything.”
In the clip, the duo is alone on the beach; here, Ana berates Carter for the safety risks he is taking on the island and begs him not to be “medically evacuated.”
“Can you be a little safer?” he asks her. “Because I need you.”
The two also talk about going to the endgame together and say they are each other’s “number 1.”
“I’ll probably win, you’ll come in second,” Carter jokes, before quickly adding: “Or vice versa.”
for 51 seasons Surviving It’s evolved through changes, format changes, and more, but the need for close allies remains. With the so-called Open Era starting with the current season, where every change the show brings is on the table, having a tribemate to trust is as important as ever.
