The moment we’ve all been waiting for has arrived: Heidi Klum’s Halloween costume is revealed.
The Queen of All Hallow’s Eve officially announced to the world that she’s dressing up as a giant independent hand this year by sharing a post on Instagram on October 31!
And in true Klum style, she did her best to bring the look to life.
Klum’s costume, which includes plenty of prosthetics and special effects, includes long, well-groomed nails and even giant rings. But things get bloody around the “wrist” area, aka Klum’s head, where severed veins and tendons hang and dangle.
Hours earlier, Klum kicked off the countdown to her big reveal by visiting the Empire State Building in New York and lighting its top in a frightening green.
The supermodel and television personality has been dropping hints about her costume for days. On October 24, Klum shared a close-up photo of a material covered in glitter gel. Some parts of the costume looked like pink brains, while other parts looked like small, yellowish craters.
Days later, he shared an equally ominous photo of pink, worm-like ribbons of mysterious material. The clues led some fans to suspect that he would be dressed as a digestive system or brain.
As Halloween day celebration time approaches, he posted other hints on Instagram, including many shots of the special effects process.
No matter what, people were sure he would cook. And chef Klum did it.
Klum has remained the gold standard of Halloween costumes for years. The annual party, where all the stars show up, has become one of the most anticipated events, and Klum’s attendance was the highlight.
In the past, she’s dressed as everything from a giant worm to last year’s Medusa. And often, her musician husband Tom Kaulitz is part of the fun, too.
