Kelly Osbourne says she’s gained 30 pounds since shocking fans on the red carpet in February with her extreme weight loss.
The former reality star revealed that she panicked when she saw photos of herself posing in a long black dress and fur shawl at the 2026 BRIT Awards on February 28. She wore a blonde wig in a blunt bob style with bangs.
“I didn’t know I looked like that until I saw the photos,” she admitted in a new interview published Sunday in The Sun. “I couldn’t believe it when I saw them. I was shocked like everyone else.”
However, she clarified that she does not suffer from an eating disorder.
“I couldn’t do anything for myself,” he explained. “Eating made me feel like I wanted to throw up.”
He was grieving the death of his father, iconic rocker Ozzy Osbourne, who died in July 2025 at the age of 76. Kelly recalled asking her father for help as she struggled to communicate with him and performed a “candle spell.”
“My father said he would send me a message,” he said. “Everything inside me felt dead and I didn’t want my son. [Sidney, 3] To see me like this.”
He continued: “I went to my father’s grave with a white candle and wrote a wish on it, ‘Please help me.'”
Kelly said her wish was granted the next day when her mother, Sharon Osbourne, introduced her to therapist and life coach Chris Miller, whom she credits for saving her life.
Kelly, 41, said she now looks back on the “worst year of her life”, including her split from ex-fiancé Sid Wilson in March, and also said it was “really beautiful”.
“I have learned that my pain is an honor because I truly love someone so much,” he reflected.
Kelly later said during the candid interview that she had not had any plastic surgery, other than getting Botox between her eyebrows and on her chin because she was grinding her teeth.
“Believe me, I want to get rid of this, but I’m so scared,” he said. “What if they mess up and I look crazy?”
She added, “This is the face God and my family gave me and it’s up to you whether you like it or not, but that’s okay with me.”
In March, Kelly hit back at body-shaming trolls following her appearance at the BRIT Awards.
“There is a special kind of cruelty in hurting someone who is clearly going through something,” he wrote on Instagram Stories at the time. “Kicking me when I was down, doubting my pain, spreading my struggles as gossip, turning your back when I needed support and love the most.”
He’s in a much healthier place now.
Last month, the former “The View” host said he has been sober for eight months after he started drinking again when he reached “ground zero” after his father’s death.
“I have such incredible people around me. I closed off my circle because I lost so many friends,” he said on the “We Need to Talk” podcast. “People don’t like sadness and they were waiting for me to get over it.”
“And I’ll never forget it,” he continued. “I will never, ever forget this.”
