Eminem, Nerds Clothing Merch Collab Preparing Marshall’s Massacre Video Game

Eminem will release a limited-edition collection of merch featuring his streetwear and pop culture brand NERDS Clothing at New York Comic Con next week, including the launch of an original video game.

According to the partners, NYCC’s debut will feature original artwork created by NERDS, including a unique 16-bit rendition of Eminem, limited-edition merchandise, a series of hand-decorated arcade cabinets created with New York artist Danny Cortes, and the launch of the original game called “Marshall’s Massacre.”

The NERDS x Eminem collection will be available in extremely limited quantities at the NERDS booth (#3253) at New York Comic Con, held October 8-11 at New York’s Javits Convention Center. The collection will include:

  • NERDS x Eminem limited edition skateboard deck
  • NERDS x Eminem limited edition long sleeve t-shirt
  • NERDS x Eminem lightweight bomber jacket

Artist Cortes will create small, limited-edition hand-decorated arcade cabinets inspired by the original 16-bit Eminem artwork created by NERDS and will be on display at the booth.

Additionally, this collaboration will include the launch of “Marshall’s Massacre,” an original game created exclusively within the Eminem-NERDS partnership, developed by Fan Arcade, a company that specializes in creating interactive gaming experiences for major artists, entertainment venues and brands. The game can be played on marshallsmassacre.com.

The Eminem-NERDS collaboration gives the hip-hop community a big push into New York Comic Con, which has traditionally focused more on comics, TV, movies and video games than music culture.

Since its launch in 2011, NERDS has sought to bridge streetwear and geek culture through IP collaborations including “Street Fighter,” “Sonic the Hedgehog,” “Astro Boy,” WWE and the NBA. Other projects that have not yet been announced are also being worked on.

“If you had told me that the overnight idea to create NERDS would turn years later into a collaboration with the biggest hip-hop artist in the world, I wouldn’t have believed you,” said Eric Medina, CEO of NERDS Clothing. “I’m excited to have this opportunity and showcase my creativity and passion with the Shady Records team. I’m really proud of what we’ve been able to create.”
