Looks like he’ll be joining the tribe.
Page Six hears that Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun are getting so serious that they’re talking about having kids — which has led “The Housemaid” star to seriously consider converting to Judaism.
“The couple has been discussing having their own family, and Scooter has a strong opinion on that,” the source says.
We reported earlier this month that Braun plans to answer that question within the next six months.
We also reported that Sweeney was seen attending Rosh Hashanah services with the emperor at Temple Sholom in Greenwich, Connecticut.
“They were sitting in the back,” says a spy who spotted them at the synagogue, which counts Mayim Bialik and high-profile financiers Mark Shenkman, Steven Tananbaum, Cliff Asness and Andrew Milgram in the congregation.
Online site DeuxMoi first reported that Sweeney was considering conversion, but now we’re hearing he’s serious about it.
A source told Page Six that the A-list actress is meeting with two rabbis.
The process can take one to four years, requires meticulous work, and requires a sponsoring rabbi.
Our source previously stated that Braun thinks Sweeney is a “modern Marilyn Monroe.”
Besides the fact that they were both bona fide sex symbols, Monroe converted to Judaism after marrying her third husband, playwright Arthur Miller.
We heard Braun wants to sign the deal.
“He is trying very hard to marry her,” a source told us earlier this month. “He follows her and charters a private plane. He will focus on her until she marries him.”
She posted a sweet tribute on his birthday on September 12, calling him “the person who surprised me and showed me how life could be lived in true partnership.”
“You make me smile more, laugh louder, go on more adventures, and dream bigger,” she wrote. “You made the ordinary exciting and made the future feel like something I couldn’t wait to achieve.”
The couple recently went on vacation with a group in Lake Powell, Utah.
