JACKSONVILLE, Florida — British-born wrestler Benjamin Satterley, known for his high-flying moves that delighted fans around the world, has died. He was 40 years old.
The death of Satterley, known as “Pac,” was announced late Sunday on All Elite Wrestling’s website. The cause of death was not stated on the website.
Satterley, who is from Newcastle upon Tyne, began his wrestling career in 2004 and signed with All Elite Wrestling in 2019, where he holds multiple championships.
He competed at the AEW Nationals in Chicago on Saturday, losing to Andrade El Ídolo.
According to booking agency MN2S, Satterley began training in wrestling when he was 18 after becoming interested in the sport through his aunt, who was a WWF fan.
He quickly rose to prominence, earning nicknames such as “Super Superman” and “The Man That Gravity Forgot.” He started his international journey in 2007 and wrestled under the name Adrian Neville between 2012 and 2018.
After signing with AEW, he became the first AEW International Champion and a two-time AEW World Trios Champion.
Praise poured in for Satterley.
